No light in his bright blue eyes

The Bobcat ran down the hill. No He thought. </I>No no! Not my brother! No!</I> He ran, not even thinking about what he was getting into. No one, bobcat or even those burly lynx, have ever come back alive from those cursed wolves. Sterling couldn't stop himself, he couldn't stand idle while his brother was down there, he couldn't stand to sit down again as yet another camp got destroyed by the wolves. He just couldn't. The bobcats and lynx had joined forces for the first time in their history. Neither side could fight these wolves alone. Sterling, along with most of the bobcats, couldn't stand the lynx. They were loud, they didn't usually think, and their anger was uncontrollable. However, even with all the bobcats and lynx put together, the wolves were still winning. But Sterling didn't care. His younger brother was the only family he had left, and was not about to let the wolves eat him as well.

    On his way down a wolf instantly caught his hind leg. Sterling turned around and got the wolf across the face as he tried to run again. It wounded the wolf, but it was still going, making a horrid sound that sounded like a cross between a laugh and a howl. More wolves came as they surrounded Sterling, biting and laughing at him as fire escaped from their jobs. Sterling was surrounded, when out of no where he heard a familiar screech.

    A huge paw came crashing down ontop of one of the wolves. "Not so quick now eh?!" The lynx shouted as he swung around and took out another. Sterling didn't know the name of this lynx, but he was a ruthless fighter. There was no light in his bright blue eyes and if the wolves' blows bothered him he didn't show it.
"Lynx! I've got to go get my brother!" Sterling shouted as he turned tail and started to continue down the hill. "Well How about some company the- Hey! Wait for me!" The lynx shouted as he followed Sterling down the hill. It was an amazing sight. A bobcat and a lynx, charging through the demonic wolves. They were like fire and ice, and there was no light in either cats' eyes. It was time for the wolves to learn their lesson.

My entry for 's contest! I chose the song-- No light, No light by Florence and the machine www.youtube.com/watch?v=29XGlY… When ever I'd listen to the song, especially towards the end, I can always picture an army charging into a battle, or in this case NinjaKato 's Sterling and my Summer-Rain charging in to save Sterling's brother (If he has one, I hope it's ok that I made that up just for the purpose of the story kato) It was after I was done with this that I realized you don't see a lot of Sterling cause big ol Rain blocks most of him
